"We have stayed at this hotel many times and always appreciate the friendly staff—Kelly, in particular, was especially helpful during our visit. The breakfast was okay, though it feels like the quality has slipped a bit compared to past stays. It’s also worth noting that this location hosts quite a few events, so be prepared for the hotel to feel a bit taken over on occasion. Our main issues were with the room comfort and maintenance. The air conditioner is wired to a motion sensor, meaning the room can get quite warm in the middle of the night when you aren't moving. More concerning, however, was that at 3:00 AM, the AC stopped cooling, began blowing stale air, and started emitting a distinct burning smell. Because we had a very long drive the next day and were placed at the very end of a long hallway (making us wonder if this room is rarely used), we chose to just turn the system off and try to sleep rather than deal with a room change or maintenance person at that hour. We love the team here, but the AC units definitely need a maintenance check."

"This was an incredibly odd experience from start to finish. I was double charged for the entire stay the moment I walked in the door and was told that's a standard but I was also told that if the charge did go through they would take care of it. So I'm not sure if it's a standard or if they were unsure it was supposed to happen that way. We arrived and noticed the beach volleyball court was totally overgrown. The pool was not full and wouldn't be during our stay. They did not have an ice machine nor an easy way to even get water, we had to go down to the fitness room to fill ours each day. Our shower drain never emptied until an hour after we were out of the shower. My girlfriend accidentally set off the fire alarm while she was curling/blow drying her hair And after apologizing profusely for the accident, they are now trying to charge me $560 for a cleaning fee because they believe we were smoking in there instead of what actually happened. I noticed the smoke near the smoke alarm almost immediately and told her to go warn the front desk that it was not a fire but likely her hair dryer thing that set it off. We were trying to help the situation and not panic anybody unnecessarily. But now I am being called a liar and being charged as if I were a degenerate. I would not send my worst enemy to this place."

"Between Travelocity and the hotel there was lack of ownership in resolving a billing dispute- each blaming the other. Recommend you stay away from both companies combined it's a trainwreck."
