I have stayed here before but unfortunately this time round it was a little disappointing. The air conditioning didn’t function properly so it was very hot and stuffy. When one of the neighbouring units showered there was a loud squealing noise coming from the pipes. And although we booked for 3 people, there were only 2 towels and flannels provided. The staff were lovely though and check in/out was quick and easy.

Check-in and check-out were easy, the staff were lovely, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. And we were close to the event we were attending over the long weekend. A few concerns though; there was no smoke detector in the rooms and there was no fire extinguisher/fire blanket. And there was no bin in the bathroom for female sanatory products.

Hosts were most helpful, polite, knowledgeable, hospitable and available when needed over a 3-week period. Memorable experience, place was clean, neat, well serviced and maintained during my stay. Will book and return soon again

Just a couple of things were a little bit dirty. There was a little bit of soil, grass and a leaf on the floor and the cutlery and dishes needed to be rewashed before we could use them. The whole place could do with a refresh but for the cheap price it was fine. The person who checked me in was very nice, kind and patient. I was very tired and sad as my dog was in surgery getting an amputation so I was grateful that our host was really nice.

Excellent location. Train 5 min away. Walk to town 15 min. Room was spotless and beds very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Will probably look to stay there again soon.

Motel has a lower star rating but was convenient for my purpose of a Greenlane clinical center appointment, was able to walk to it, and the price was good. Was also walking distance to shop in Newmarket. No problems locating parking spaces for me. Would use this motel again. Regards, Ron.

For the money we couldn't complain. New floors and paint. Some slightly shabby joinery but who cares. All in all very good value and nice enough. Quiet, helpful welcoming staff.

Staff at reception were very supportive. Rooms were spacious, however upon arrival room cleaniness was an issue but was attended to quickly after complaining. Ascot needs to concentrate on cleaniness and probably have a thorough inspections of their rooms before the guests checkin. Don't let guests pick up on matters that can be attended to before their checkin.

Old property, needs a revamp, sounded like rats running in ceiling, the jioning doors allow all the sounds and voices through. Staff were wonderful, was cheap to stay in but would not go back . It was clean but furnitures and fittings worn and tatty. Sorry would not go back .
