Heritage Inn Express Roseville

Heritage Inn Express Roseville

8/10 Good
"The outside does not match the inside. The renovations in the rooms make your stay seem less Motelish and more Hotelish.. Room was large and spacious. Only complaint, small but notable, the metal frame around the base of the bed was quite noisy. Just stepping up to the bed you kicked it and it is LOUD, , hard to avoid. The room was clean and had a nice feel to it..."

"Our check in went fairly quick as he filled us in on a few things in and around the motel. We were pleasantly surprised with our room. Tucked in the back and very clean. It’s been a long time since we’ve found comfortable beds and pillows but these were very comfortable! The bathroom had a wonderful light up mirror. Unfortunately the sink takes up the entire wall so it limits counter space. They do provide a small rolling cart underneath the sink. There is a kuerig provided but it was frustrating to get it to actually work. Wish they served breakfast but there are several choices in the area. We will definitely stay here next time we’re in town"

"The hotel was clean and well-maintained, as was the room. Breakfast was good, with very helpful and friendly staff there who made sure food was replenished quickly. The pool was clean with fresh towels and a nice patio area to relax in after a dip. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. The hotel was in a quiet area that was still close enough to all the amenities like restaurants and shopping that we needed. Highly recommend!"

Thunder Valley Casino Resort

Thunder Valley Casino Resort

8/10 Good
"The Good:Clean Rooms: The hotel room itself was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The Bad & Things to Know Before You Go:Heavy Smoke Exposure: Thunder Valley is a smoking casino. If you are a non-smoker, be prepared. You will face second-hand smoke immediately when walking through the lobby from the garage parking lot. The smoke smell carries heavily into the dining areas, making it uncomfortable if you want to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner on-site.No Room Microwaves: If you like to bring back leftovers from the restaurants, note that there are no microwaves inside the rooms. Slow Front Desk Service: The staff was only alright. During my visit, the lines backed up significantly because front desk agents spent an extensive amount of time dealing with disgruntled customers instead of calling additional representatives for assistance. This left a lot of guests in line feeling irritated. Tips for Future Guests:If you are sensitive to smoke, hold your breath or wear a mask when walking from the garage through the lobby.Plan to eat your meals off-site or order room service if you want to completely avoid the casino's smoky air."
