"We were told by a friend who recommended this hotel that the breakfasts were better than most hotels. We would definitely agree it was nice to have eggs and cheesey bacon potatoes were really great, especially mixed together! Hot tub was nice, large and clean. The check in was great because the lady at the desk was so nice and friendly! She recommended some eating places too that were wonderful! Our room was really big and there were 5 of us. This was a great place to stay! "

"One of the best mid-tier hotels I've stayed in in a long time! Hard to believe it is a Holiday Inn Express. They renovated in November 2025 and spared no expense. The pool and hot tub were huge and very nice. They had a commercial Costa coffee maker in the lobby. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful and included a pancake maker! The rooms were nicely done. They had firm and soft pillows...loved the discrete labeling on the pillow cases. The view of Lake Superior from the breakfast room and the back porch were gorgeous...I could not get enough. I would definitely return to this hotel if I am in the area again. And I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family."

"Motel is close to town and the Painted Rocks. It was a great place to stay so my husband could run the Grand Island Half-Marathon. It was right on their bus route. Breakfast had waffles, cereal, juice, coffee, fruit, and pastries. Nice pool."

"What an absolutely beautiful location. It was close to everything. Owner George gave us helpful maps, ideas, and dinner recommendations. Large lawn area with lots of chairs to look at the water. Kots of coffee and gift shops. Will definitely be back."
