The property and room were fine. However, we didn’t think the toilet flushed right. When used (nothing that shouldn’t and not excessive) it plugged. When the front desk was told of the plug we were directed to come to the desk for a plunger and to try and unplug it ourselves.

This was a terrible experience. We called beforehand to let the front desk know we would be in late. When we arrived after being on the road for 6 hours there was nobody at the desk. We yelled out for someone to see where a worker may be and also tried to call the hotel with no luck. 45 minutes later the front desk worker comes out of some conference room where it appeared he had been asleep. He offered no apology and just asked us if we wanted to check in. We got to our room and when we woke up the next morning we found blood on our pillow case and sheets. We informed the front desk and asked them for room service to come change our sheets. We got back about 3 hours later and our room still had not been cleaned and there were no new sheets. We also spoke with the manager who told us there was nothing they could do. I don’t know at this point if I will ever use hotels.com or a holiday inn. This was a terrible experience for our vacation.
