"We’ve been coming to the carousel for over 25 years. The last two years we had zero Internet access and last year I was forced to drive all the way to Best Buy to get a 3G/4G modem that hunters and people in remote areas use to be able to have Internet access. My wife and I both work remotely so this was like a getaway and a working vacation but every time we were in the room or anywhere near the room, we had zero signal and had to travel to different places to gain Internet access. I complained to the front desk numerous occasions, and they told me there’s nothing they can do and I told them I wanted to cancel my subscription under false pretenses and breach of contract since they promised working Wi-Fi and still nothing. A front desk worker stopped by my room and provided the password to the internal carousels Wi-Fi, which is carousel_meeting. Still no Internet access. While we were in the room for the entire week, they only cleaned the room once and no there was no do not disturb tag on our door knob. We will never be staying there again, which breaks a family tradition and we do everything we can to have the carousel make this right because they breached the contract. IF YOU ARE CONTEMPLATING TO STAY AT THE CAROUSEL, BE CAREFUL BECAUSE EXPECT NO INTERNET ACCESS UNLESS YOUR PHONE IS ABLE TO DO SO WITH ONLY 1 SIGNAL. THE CAROUSEL COMPLETELY RUINED OUR TRIP."

"Staff was hard to locate there often wasn’t anyone at the front desk. There is only an indoor pool at the property and the water was quite cloudy. The rooms are spacious, however housekeeping is only upon request no matter how short or long your stay. The large Restaurant schooners is very underutilized as it’s only open for breakfast and the service was very slow. The only on-site dinner options are all fried bar food, however the quesadillas were delicious. The weather during our trip was slated to be cold (June) and we wanted to reschedule but because it was booked with Expedia we were unable to cancel without losing the full amount we paid."

"Staff was super friendly and tried to be helpful. My room keys did not work and they were rekeyed and replaced 3 times. Maintenance tried as well. After we had settled in because they couldn't get the room keys to work, we were moved to a different room. They obviously had not had the time to clean it. Floor was dirty questionable as to what it was stuck to the floor. I used wash wipes to clean it. The room was so stuffy and hot. This was resolved in a few hours once the AC/fan kicked in. There was a microwave on the floor. I went to use it to heat up my dog's food and didn't realize it was so greasy. It was horrible. Not only the floors in my room were dirty, the hallway was just as bad - so many spills and stains. I know it was a dog-friendly floor, but that should've made them more inclined to keep it clean. Nobody at front desk when I went to check out. I think she was a housekeeping person came from the back and I let her know I wanted to check out and turn in the keys. She asked me my room number and said ok and walked away. I finally just left the keys by the phone on the front desk as I had an appointment I had to get to. I definitely won't go back."
