"Dear Sir/Madam, The hotel was advertised online with attractive photographs and descriptions of high-quality accommodation; however, our experience upon arrival on 13 May was extremely disappointing and far below the standard advertised. Firstly, there was no disabled access available and no lift access to any of the rooms, which was not made clear at the time of booking. Upon entering the hotel, we were met with ongoing renovation work, including decorating covers throughout the foyer area. There was no visible reception desk or bar as advertised. When we questioned a member of staff about the work being carried out, we were informed that the renovations had started that very day. None of this information had been disclosed on the hotel’s website or booking page prior to our arrival. In addition, there was a strong cannabis smell coming from the room next to ours, which appeared to have been covered up with air freshener or spray before we were shown to our room. Although parts of the room itself appeared acceptable, the bathroom facilities were not. The showerhead was damaged, with multiple holes causing water to spray and leak everywhere, making it impossible to have a proper shower. Furthermore, when my wife requested that the heating be turned on, the request was refused without any attempt being made to investigate or resolve the issue. Ov"
