"My room was spacious clean and modern. It was very safe and quiet. Breakfast was provided and was excellent. It is located 15 minute walk up steep road from city centre. Easy walking down and cheap uber tuk tuk ride back up the hill after leaving city center. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Kandy."

"You must read-up on what to expect at the queen’s hotel. It may or may not be for you. It feels like stepping back in time. The place is a little shabby in places but if you want to have that feeling of living a bit of history it delivers. It’s an excellent location and the staff are all friendly and helpful.
