It was awfully packed over the full moon weekend (would not recommend visiting during this period)! This pavilion-like structure at the front Paththirippuwa, or Octagon. It is a symbol of identity in Kandyan Architecture. In the olden days, the king would stand there to address his citizens who were gathered in front of him. The golden roof behind stands over the Buddha tooth relic that this temple is famous for. Room was good with a Great Lake view. Staff was really helpful. But did not refill some of bathroom stuff such as shower cap . Food quality was extremely poor, soup was really cold when served to the room. Staff did not cover the food when bringing from kitchen to room, open to air every stuff. Hope it’s not up to even a minimum standard inn. Not decided to buy food from rest anymore.😞 I hope this will change your basic practice.

Atiloua on reception always had the most beautiful smile to greet everyone. Everyone was keen to help. The food and juices offered in the restaurant was very good. Interesting and delicious options on menu. No alcohol was sold on site and we went out for cocktails nearby.

Everything was very good including the staff only downside was as we had a junior suite they should’ve had gowns and slippers. The traffic noise was very loud in the early evening and particularly early morning between 530 and eight.Am the food in the restaurant was pretty good

L’hôtel est bien situé, chambre basic, si vous avez l’intention de vous laver.. bonne chance! C’est un combat!! Débit de l’eau très faible et ça passe du chaud au froid en 2 secondes! Bcp d’employés, mais peu de services de leurs part! Ça fait la job pour les petit budget!
