Isle of Bute Trips (flight + hotel)

If it's your first time traveling during the COVID-19 outbreak, you'll notice a few more rules and regulations in place. Take note of these tips and make your journey to Isle of Bute a smooth one:

• Research if any travel restrictions apply to your destination and origin before booking. Also check if there are any requirements you'll have to follow on arrival, such as taking a COVID-19 test.
• When you pass through airport checkpoints, do not remove your face mask. You will be asked to lower it briefly to verify your identity. Anyone refusing to wear a face mask may be fined and denied entry.
• Do not hand your boarding pass (paper or electronic) directly to a TSA officer. Rather, you should position the pass on the scanner and then hold it up to allow the agent to visually inspect it.
• You are now permitted to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on luggage. You'll need to remove it for X-ray screening.
• Remove personal items from your pockets, like your phone and wallet, and place them in your carry-on instead of the bins. This will minimize handling during screening.
• Transport your food items in a clear plastic bag and also put them in a screening bin. Keeping food separate from your carry-on means it's less likely a TSA agent will need to open your bag for inspection.
