"This was a HORRIBLE place to stay. We waited over an hour and 30-mins for the person to show up with the key and walk us through the apartment. We missed our dinner reservation which was a celebration. The apartment had 2 working heaters yet we used 3 bedrooms. There was a light blanket and sheet for the bed. The beds needed blankets! My children and I slept in our coats. In the middle of the night the heater went out. We called, messaged, and text the owner who did not return...

The beach is very close, and you can enjoy a beautiful 20-minute walk along the boardwalk into Cascais. "We were staying there after traveling for hours just to have a place to sleep. We arrived at 4:30am and when we got to the door we typed in our code which didn’t let us in. I contacted the owner who got back in a bit of time and figured it out after but when you’ve been traveling for hours and running on about 2 hours of sleep, standing on the sidewalk for 10 minutes feels like a long time!! It is great though how were were able to check in at any time!"
