"Christo is the man! This hotel is great, so friendly and homey, it was like staying at a friends house with lots of cool other guests. Breakfast was awesome! Can’t say enough, was a fabulous stay, lake views and very conveniently located to skiing. A+"

"Staff was friendly and working hard. Room was clean, comfortable and nicely updated… but they’re fighting an uphill battle against an aging run down building with apparently a long-broken elevator for 6 floors. Great price on difficult to find lodging in the area."

"Room was very clean, staff were very courteous and helpful. Onsen facility was very good. Dining options were limited. The cafe, food court, bakery were closed after 4pm, so dinner choices were limited to the expensive restaurants, unless you have transport and willing to travel to Myoko town."

"I have never had a bad stay at this hotel. I’ve visited this hotel 3 times since July of 2025. This last stay I had mistakenly hit the button for Single Smoking Room. When I discovered my mistake, the front desk staff quickly sorted me, and didn’t charge extra for a double room Non Smoking! The restaurants here are also delicious!"
