Appalachian Mountains hotel rooms a the La Quinta Inn & Suites

"Cherokee tower is stunning. The room was clean, and the bed was just as comfortable as my bed at home."

"Hotel was nice. Staff was friendly but a little understaffed. The outdoor waterpark is open until 11 pm. Kids were screaming until at least 11 pm."

"Hotel was very nice, view of the water was great. Breakfast had a strange selection of food but was overall pretty good. The problem was that the hotel is connected to the casino, and the cigarette smoke is pervasive throughout."

"The amenities were amazing for all ages (pool, playground, arcade). The food and bar was so nice when we didn’t feel like going back out! The rooms were cozy and enough space to where you didn’t feel like you were sitting on each other!!"

"The location is excellent, and the valet parking service was great. However, my room was right near the elevator, so it was quite noisy late at night, even around 2 a.m., which made it difficult to rest. I understand the hotel was fully booked, but I had reserved a room advertised as having a river view. Unfortunately, because the room was on a lower floor, I couldn’t really see the river at all. I had also noted in my reservation that I would prefer a higher floor if possible, so that was a bit disappointing."

"The rooms were outdated and there was mold on the ceiling tiles in the bathroom. One of the elevators was out of order which was inconvenient."

"Visit was during NCAA SOFTBALL REGIONALS. It was the same weekend as University of Tennessee graduation ceremonies. Hilton is located a few blocks from Market Square which is a cool walking park area with lots of history and statues. Plus many shops and restaurants. The city is very nice! The Hilton is classy. My only concern was with the bed. I expected it to be better. It was a bit lumpy. Other rooms may be more updated. The shower was good. Parking is expensive."
