"We had a great stay at Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort! The property is absolutely beautiful, and the indoor water park is a huge plus, especially for families with kids. Just keep in mind that there is an additional fee to use the water park.
The rooms are exactly what you pay for, so if you’re looking for more space or extra amenities, I would definitely recommend upgrading and paying the difference.
There were only two downsides to our stay. First, the check-in process took an extremely long time. The front desk staff seemed to be taking their time, with very little urgency to get guests checked in, which was frustrating after a long day of traveling.
Our other complaint was the cleanliness of the carpets in our room. They were extremely dirty and honestly looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a very long time. This was disappointing and definitely something housekeeping should pay more attention to.
Aside from those two issues, everything else was wonderful! We really enjoyed the beautiful property, the amenities, and our overall experience. With a little improvement in housekeeping and check-in efficiency, this resort could be even better!"
