On arrival, there was no-one there to give us keys and no-one answered the phone when we tried repeatedly to call. "I didn’t notice on my booking confirmation that building work was being carried out. If I had, I would have cancelled my booking. Our bedroom which was new was lovely but there was just a lot of plaster dust about due to the ongoing works. And it would be impossible to have a sleep beyond 9am due to the building works. The breakfast was very nice but there only were fruit or green tea. No breakfast tea. The room had an nepresso machine with a few capsules but no milk or coffee cups. Would recommend this hotel post building works but bring a kettle, tea, cups and milk. "

"The location was perfect for exploring the Old Town. Very walkable and close to lots of lovely shops and restaurants. Spoiled for choice! Parking was 50% off at the Hotel de Ville parking garage which was helpful. We paid about €6. The breakfast room was very nicely appointed, and the breakfast had a good selection. We stayed on a Monday and the bar is closed in a Monday so we didn’t experience that. The rooms are a little tired and I would say small however they way they are put together, including an interior door and the bathroom backing on to the bed wall, means that you don’t hear other guests coming and going, so that was a real plus. Annecy is a stunning town. We will be back!"
