"Really nice room. Bathroom was lovely (some hairs in sink when we arrived, but not that a big deal). There was a wedding on in the hotel, with music heard thumping in our room until quite late (we’re not killjoys, but it was impossible to sleep and very loud). It would have been good to know this when booking, as we would have looked elsewhere. Called down to ask reception and they were dismissive and a bit rude. "Nice hotel , first time. Booked it for my husbands birthday as he wanted to try because we have stayed a few times at the waterside & loved it. Preferred the waterside. Food is better although we had a good meal at the gailes. My husband is really hard to please. A retired chef.😗 My meal was really nice but my husband had battered fish & he did say it was tasteless. We had a good sleep & breakfast was good.Room was just as i had asked. Spotlessly clean. Well done to your cleaning staff, they are the guys that makes your stay worth it."

"I booked a room here for 2 nights for a wedding over at Brig O'Doon and felt very well looked after and "at home" here. When I arrived by car, the car park was a decent size, free to park in and was right outside the hotel. The check in and check out processes were very straightforward and simple. I had a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant on my first night and the room was very spacious, clean and well designed. The hot chocolate and mini shortbread were a lovely touch! All in all, I had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend it!"
