"Overall lovely hotel, food was great throughout and pools were so lovely and warm. Rooms were spacious and quiet, and shuttle to the beach was super helpful. Couple of improvements - the tiles around the pooo get super slippy, we saw several kids fall and almost tripped ourselves. 10/10 Excellent

"Our second stay at Castillo De Sol in recent years and we couldn't fault it. Apartments are perfect for two people with a small kitchen and also a great shower! Beds are super comfy and the air conditioning ( at a €25 surcharge ) worked very well. Staff were all very pleasant and the pool bar is perfect for breakfast or daytime snacks with a good selection of drinks available all at very reasonable prices. Pool area only opens at 10am each day and no problem getting a bed and parasol at any time of day, no sunbed wars here! If you're looking for a VERY reasonably priced stay in Puerto Rico and don't mind the steps up and down then I can thoroughly recommend these apartments."

"Arrived on late Thursday morning on 14th May. Stood outside for 6 minutes before the virtual receptionist let us in. We had to wait till approximately 2.30 to get into our room. The resort was not busy so cannot see why we couldn’t have obtained our room earlier. We were informed that the rooms only get serviced every other day which we thought was a bit strange as every other apartment/ hotel room we have stayed at has always been serviced everyday day with beds made, bathrooms cleaned and fresh towels provided. The bar didn’t opened until 12 so if you wanted a drink before this time you were out of luck - if you wanted a drink after 6 you would have to go into the resort or buy your own. Everything in the bar is out of bottles and cans - nothing is run on draft. The drinks are not cheap either. We were spending €50 per day on 4 gin and tonics. The bar food on offer the first day was fine. The other days we were given a basic menu and told that the kitchen was closed (we have since found out that the chef was on holiday and the other chef was having an operation) while we understand this - the management should of got someone in to cover the absenteeism. So we were offered basic ping food which for the price they wanted we didn’t think was acceptable. WiFi is awful - you have to reconnect everyday if not every time you leave your apartment. On the plus side you have two amazing staff - Davide and Muta - who were brilliant and very friendly and helpful on all accounts."

"Hotel is very clean, the pool area was cleaned/mopped every morning. No sun-bed wars at all. 20 minute from the centre/ Mogán mall, we walked up and down every night. All staff very lovely and welcoming. Happy hour between 12-1300 with good selection of drinks. Only thing I would is that we were told breakfast is from 8am but it was 9/9:30am- could be abit more of an option £8 for either ‘American breakfast’ which wasn’t a big portion at all or continental to choose between pastry’s/fruit etc also £8 with Hot drink and juice. Lunch menu was very reasonable and great selection. Overall great experience!"
