"Opening the wood door off the beautiful cobblestone streets of the central historic district leads to a beautiful tranquil open atrium of the Orchid House. This small boutique hotel has 5-6 rooms off the courtyard. Rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. Breakfast was made to order in the dining room and included. Pass through stone hallway and end up in a back garden. Ok so weekends there are bars/clubs in the vicinity. Some reviewers have been sensitive to the music. Earplugs are provided and the windows are “soundproof”. While you could hear the sound without earplugs, we found it no issue with getting a good night’s sleep. Orchid House is perfectly located in the center of historic San Miguel. A note about the city: it is not at all what I would call disability friendly. Super narrow sidewalks and fairly rough cobblestone roads make for a walking experience that requires attention. However that said, the city is breathtaking! We will definitely return and stay at Orchid House. "
