The staff is wonderfully courteous, but the building and rooms need an infusion of cash to repaint, recarpet, repair and remodel. The facility is at the end of its days. You can only clean a rundown room so much before it just becomes a loss. No bugs or insects at all. Just stains and too many hasty or partial repairs.

We had a decent stay overall at this Quality Inn in Anderson South Carolina. The front desk staff at both check-in and check-out were very friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. The hotel was also impressively quiet at night — no loud guests or disruptive noise, which made it easy to rest. There were a few issues during our stay. One evening after visiting family, we returned to find our room door open. I’m confident we had closed it properly before leaving, but the door was a bit tricky and would pop open if not pushed firmly. The “Do Not Disturb” sign was also gone, so I’m not sure if housekeeping entered or if the door didn’t latch correctly. Since nothing was missing, we didn’t report it, but it was still concerning. Additionally, the shower head leaked and sprayed water in multiple directions during use. The room only had one very small trash can, which filled up quickly, and one arm on the desk chair was broken. Despite these issues, the stay wasn’t bad overall. With a few maintenance fixes and some attention to room details, it could be a really solid option.

The room was full of stains all over the floor, shower was full of hair, toilet had poop on it. Toilet wouldn’t flush and shower wouldn’t drain. We dealt with a stranger knocking on the door from 3:15-4:30 am because we ended up calling the cops. And the phone was ringing all night he and it was in the wrong room. Horrible experience.

Beds were very comfy, staff was friendly and great water pressure. Bathroom door did not close and would open while inside. There was a plastic fork lodged inside of the sink and was cracked. The toilet flush handle would pop out if you touched it, had to fiddle with it in order to close it. Could use another trashcan inside the room other than the mini one beside the front door. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

This was by far the dirtiest most disgusting hotel room I have ever stayed in. We left as soon as we could and checked into a different hotel. We had a room right across from the snack machines. There were about 10 leaking and smelly trash bags beside the ice maker which was beside the snack machine and all were swimming in trash juice water. Our sheets were dirty (dirt where your feet go under the covers so either dirty or stained). The interior of the room was gross. I accidently dropped my toothbrush on the counter and just threw it away. This place needs to be bulldozed and just start over. The room STUNK something AWFUL of cigarette smoke, week and BO (was a "non-smoking" room). My daughter wanted to sleep in the car. This place ... I cannot even explain. People walked by the room back and forth all night. I didn't feel very safe. It was just an awful experience.

This place was completely unacceptable. The room was in terrible condition, worse than what would be suitable even for animals. It looked like it had been neglected and misused for years, and I would never allow my dogs, let alone people, to stay there. Highly disappointing and not at all what was advertised.
