"So this wasn't my first option as a place to stay but I am glad I ended up here. The staff is very helpful and will do anything to make your stay nice. It is not as modern and hotels closer to the main city, but when you are out in the forests of Lemur land, this is pretty good. I will definitely come back "

Learn more about Andasibe

Listen for the haunting calls of indri lemurs in Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, where guided morning hikes offer the best wildlife encounters. Explore the lush rainforest trails with local guides who'll help spot chameleons, orchids, and the park's famous 'dancing sifaka' lemurs.

The Diademed Sifaka is real cutie. On this sighting near Andasibe they were somewhat shy and staying almost out of reach in the rainforest canopy. A little fill flash along with a Magmod did the trick.
