"Friendly and efficient check-in, which is always a good start. This was my second stay at the hotel this month and I would stay again. Very clean and comfortable room, no room for any complaint there. However, the dining/lounge area does let it down somewhat. The atmosphere is distinctly lacking in ambience, with too few comfortable seats, and it feels as though guests aren't particularly encouraged to linger and relax. The food is perfectly acceptable, but overpriced for what it is. The waiting staff were very friendly at breakfast and in the evening. The evening team worked very well together and very pleasant despite being run off their feet, credos to them. One thing that left a slightly sour note was the payment process. When paying by card at the table, I was given a total amount, only to discover after payment that a service charge had been added. It felt a little sneaky and would have been better highlighted by being given a copy of the bill before payment was taken. Overall, a convenient hotel with friendly staff throughout the hotel, and a great location for the airport, but I'll make a point of dining elsewhere before arriving next time."

"The original part of the hotel was full of character. The room could do with some maintenance, sealing around the shower, toilet roll holder, fitted basin sink plug rather than some replacement rubber stopper on a chain. It would also be useful to have a hook in or a rail the bathroom to hang up the towels after use. A floor standing fan was in the room however air-conditioning is really required as the room, even with the windows open in October was hot. I wonder how guest got on during the 2026 heatwave."

"Have stayed here before for a conference close by. Staff are excellent. This time my room wasn’t brilliant. Bedside light didn’t work but they quickly brought me a table lamp. Unfortunately there was a problem with the water in the morning- sink tap ran brown for a while and the shower had no hot water at all. Was just grateful I didn’t have to wash my hair. Staff apologized. Hotel was full otherwise I think they would have moved me. Unfortunately I was also told that the leisure facilities were closed by Expedia which wasn’t actually the case and was a shame I couldn’t benefit from them but there’s always next year. Overall nothing would deter me from staying here again. The evening meals in the restaurant are excellent value for money and as I’ve said the staff are lovely."
