"We had a delightful stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Jessica! The building and grounds are amazing. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Dinner at restaurant onsite was also very good. While out of town a ways we enjoyed the 40 walk and climb up to the old walled city."

"The check-in was a problem. Initially no one was there for check-in and we had to just sit and wait at 2:45 PM. Once someone arrived the individual had the personality of a blank sheet of paper and provided about as much information. There was no restaurant and initially the entire castle was locked down. We drove off site to have dinner. The room was pretty big, but the bathroom had the smallest shower ever, and that includes the one on my destroyer in the US Navy! The room itself was also NOT in the castle itself. I would not recommend a stay here. "

"Beautiful property very well maintained. Relaxing, private, quiet and extremely beautiful setting. Rooms were well appointed with nice terraces out front. Staff were very professional and attended to your every need. Slightly disappointed with the food at dinner but the breakfast was good and had an assortment of choices."

"Parking is tricky, but we found a free parking lot close by. Check-in was easy and Livia was a gem full of helpful tips and resources. Check out - the front desk guy wasn’t very helpful. We paid the city tax in cash and wanted our change in coins - just a few coins to use in town- very much needed in Italy and he wasn’t willing to provide coins or even break a ten. He offered no assistance. Overall the room, spa and property is nice. No restaurant during off season, but the breakfast provided was excellent."
