"Well, there is no property staff. It was clean and nicely appointed, a pretty nice place. However - they have a massive bowl of ear plugs in the common area - take this note: if you are at all bothered by noise - you will need the ear plugs. These are some of the noisiest rooms I have ever experienced. Ironically - the air conditioning split-unit was very quiet, as was the ceiling fan. But everything else… Yes, there is a bar downstairs with bands playing - we knew that and we enjoyed watching them for a while. But even after that: the trains a block away blow their horns right near the hotel and it’s a very busy rail line. Trucks and motorcycles on the main road have a 4 way stop so they are always revving their engines hard right outside your window. There are people in the halls and common areas talking loudly or playing music. The walls are super thin - you hear all the snoring, breathing, and talking in either room beside you."

"A simple motel near Big Bend. Looked like it was updated recently. Convenient access to Big Bend. Not a whole lot around the property in terms of dining options but having a microwave and a fridge made up for it. A general store was nearby as well"

"The place was full of construction dust, it seems the place is being renovated from few months and the place is a mess..... nothing like in the photos, dont get fooled. Even hotels.com did not mention or explain this point and they are still marketing this hotel as part of their suggestions"
