Living in Spain for the past ten years we were familiar with Roquetas de Mar and wanted to stay somewhere tranquil, away from the tourist hotels, these apartments suited our needs. and with a small pool in the complex seemed Ideal. "The property was having building work carried out while we were staying as it was low season . We were offered an upgrad to a sea view room which was a beautiful view but we still had to pay the upgrade charge . You would have thought this would have been complimentary due to the room being free anyway and to compensate for the building work ."

"The furnishings are a bit dated but overall the apartments are big and comfortable with a good balcony. The swimming pool is the best we have ever experienced catering for children and adults. It is huge and is thoroughly cleaned every day before opening including all the sunbeds being hosed down . Roquetas does suffer from high winds when the sea is not good for swimming so to have this wonderful pool is a bonus."

Paint peeling of walls, dirty pillows and scruffy blankets. We paid for a superior apartment however no idea what was superior about it. "Very nice spacious apartment overlooking the pool with all amenities. Five floors of apartments with lifts. Everything very clean. Staff were very helpful but I wish I could speak Spanish but they tried their best with our English. Free parking next to apartments although secure parking is available in basement. "Nice apartment, just needs attention to detail. Eg 1 wine glass, crack in coffee pot. 1 flat pillow each. Overall value for money. Just one point, the office does not open until 4pm (check in time ) so don't bother getting there any earlier. "
