"The shower pod is literally in the room you sleep in at the bottom of the bed. I had no idea this was the case when booking as I’ve never known anything like it! There is zero privacy! The reception staff aren’t very friendly and the service overall is just lacking what you would normally expect from a 4 star hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this place nor would I stay here again! "The Grand Hotel Amrâth is an incredible historic hotel. It is very centrally located near Central train station. My room on the 3rd floor had high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the canal. Absolutely gorgeous! They have many original museum pieces from when they were a shipping house in the early 1900’s. I truly enjoyed my stay. I would say my only complaint would be that they did not have a ramp to bring luggage up the front stairs. The bellman does help if he is waiting in front but if not, pretty challenging. Have some great videos of my room but unfortunately won’t upload on the site "
