"We enjoyed our stay at The Magnolia in June. The staff truly made our holiday - they were friendly, smiley and were always happy to help, I cannot thank them enough for a comfortable stay. The hotel itself was quaint and we were lucky enough to stay during a quiet period so we never struggled to get a pool lounger. The only areas for improvement are the birds at breakfast (management confirmed they are looking into preventative actions) and room adaptions such as brighter lights and better socket locations. This did not affect our stay however, and again management have confirmed they plan to make changes in response to feedback which is great as it will make this hotel an even better place to stay. The only advisory is that the pool has background upbeat music playing throughout the day - some love this, some don’t, hence why I have mentioned. In terms of price, it is comparable to Ria Park which is a larger hotel with slightly nicer rooms but it can be busier, so it’s really down for the to personal preference as to whether you prefer a smaller hotel. Our bucket list is to try all the hotels in The Algarve but The Magnolia is firmly on the return list."
