"This is a fantastic and convenient venue in a beautiful village. We stayed there whilst visiting national trust properties and it was the perfect location for our needs. "I stay at the Bear for a week once a year when I’m back visiting family. Always a pleasure staying there , rooms are always spotless , parking is good and Hayley and the staff always looks after me ."

"Really nice staff, bar/lounge area and rooms. Ideal for a night or 2 if you are visiting the local area for sight seeing etc. Shepton mallet high street is about 10-15 minute walk away although it is uphill. Taxis where hard to get although could have just been the time of day on the weekend."
