"This is an exceptional property in Lisbon. We were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our stay. We were greeted by two of the nicest, most professional people you can imagine (Rita and Dylan), who made it clear that our happiness and satisfaction were very important to them. Our visit started with a quick drink of a local cordial and was followed by a tour of the property which included ancient ruins. The hotel itself is built into an old palace but it is completely modern and beautiful. The rooms were spacious with very high ceilings and the bathroom was gorgeous with ample high quality towels, robes, and toiletries. The housekeeping staff is vigilant with at least two visits a day, and anything else you might need. One of the best surprises was the cozy bar and excellent restaurant. The food was so good we decided to return to the hotel for our final dinner and just enjoy the outdoor seating. The location could not be better...we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go without using any transportation until our return to the airport, with the exception of the streetcars which we boarded just for the experience! Lisbon is a wonderful city and we give this hotel our highest recommendation. We will definitely return and will recommend to all of our friends."

Hotel Convento do Salvador

"The property sits in the Alfama district of Lisbon. The oldest and most historic district of the city. It is quaint with stunningly beautiful views of the city. We were told by a staff member the hotel was the first convent founded in the city, hence, the name Convento do Salvador. This hotel is in a very narrow and steep cobblestone street. Some taxis and Uber drivers do not go down to the hotel to pick up passengers and it is necessary to go up to one of the main thoroughfares to get the Uber. If you have difficulties walking and/or climbing, this, perhaps isn’t the place for you. However, we found it quaint with an inner courtyard, comfortable with a mi ima list and modern vibe, clean and with warm, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was wonderful. I would stay there again!"

Solar dos Mouros

"My partner and I stayed for 3 nights at the Solar dos Mouros in the balcony room. We absolutely loved it and were very sad when it was time to leave. The staff were all extremely welcoming and helpful from the moment we got there. Francois in particular was fantastic, from checking us in to giving us tips for getting around the city and places to see, he covered everything. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable, with room service completed each day while we were out exploring the city and let me just say, we could not have asked for a better view from the balcony! The only thing was that the door to the bathroom/toilet is mostly clear glass, so not a whole lot of privacy. There are several flights of stairs to the room we stayed in and no elevator, which wasn't an issue for us but something to consider. There are also two restaurants attached. The main one for the terrace and a traditional Portuguese restaurant. We ate at the main restaurant and sitting on the terrace. The view was great and so was the food and service. All round, a fantastic place to stay and we hope to make our way back some day for another much longer stay!"
