"For a motel with outside doors and
pet friendly, it was very clean. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but there is a fence and the attendant is observant and there were no vagrants in the parking area. The bed and pillows were exceptional and I slept like a log. "

pets. We are traveling with our poodle. My only complaint is the fee they charge for a pet. An extra $30 they call a deposit but it is never refunded! "

pets which was key for me. The staff, all of them, were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Some guests didn’t follow suggestion for preventing their doors to slam shut, but that is not the hotel’s fault. We never tried breakfast buffet although they had one. There’s a church across the street whose clock bells chime every hour and every 15 minutes but we never heard it in our room. My only desire...

"Lobby locked both on check in & out. Owner functional but really welcoming. Room has clearly been renovated to a nice standard but hotplate cable was no where near a plug. Microwave old & rusty but worked. Other guests over filled the bin outside the room so it ended up all over the floor. Seems they may be resident as playing music & drinking."

"I attended a one week seminar in Alexandria which took place at a large hotel chain.
Most people that attended stayed at that hotel which cost 55% more than the Red Roof. To their surprise, their rooms were only cleaned twice a week. Nothing special bu their lobby area.
Red Roof was just remodeled professionally. The room was cleaned daily. My wife worked remotely and their WiFi was very strong.
I was very impressed and obviously happy to save 55%.
I would recommend highly."
