The lady that checked me in was nice. Everything was clean. I picked to stay there because it is very safe and they have a washer and a dryer, so I was able to go upstairs and wash some clothes and not worry about finding a laundromat.

Maintenance on the building is subpar for the price point. Fridge was frozen over in the room and froze the drinks I put in it. If the AC unit is at a super low temp when you enter the room…there’s a reason. Don’t make the mistake of turning it to a “normal” temp or you will end up sleeping in a swamp. Whatever disinfectant/cleaner they use smelled overpowering in the room. Door paint and bathroom caulking desperately needed attention. I was a single adult traveler and got put on the same floor with a bunch of (unsupervised?) teens that were noisy well past quiet hours. Continental breakfast was super basic and seemed like an after thought. Upside, employees were very nice.

Room was hot and smelled like old gym socks, air felt very humid, there was a whataburger cup in the closet from a previous customer, shower railing was broken and fell down when my son went to take a shower, and the worst unsafe part… a used needle and syringe on top of the bed frame. I reported all of this on check out. I was offered to switch rooms the second night when I told the staff about the shower railing. I have no complaints on staff nor the breakfast. I am asking for a refund.

My room was not clean the beds looked like it was slept in sheets were very worn. The floors were sticky and black. Ask for them to clean it while we were out and never happened had to ask the front desk for towels because they didn’t put any in my room. The staff at the front desk was amazing. Just the room needed to be cleaned better.
