"Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave. "Small hostel in a great location. The owners are super nice and booked our canyoneering tour for us, and rented us snorkels for our whole stay. The room was nice enough, no frills but good for what we needed. The shared bathroom was not great though, and could do with some attention. "I really enjoyed my stay at the Parrot Resort. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The resort is literally right off the main drag in town, yet tucked away so that the loud sounds of nightlife and traffic could not be heard. The grounds were peaceful and the food was excellent at a very good price. I highly recommend the Parrot!"
