A great break at a beautiful hotel…

We had a wonderful six night break at Granada Beach. The hotel is small enough that it doesn’t feel crowded, set on a beautiful hillside overlooking the sea with a fabulous private beach. The staff are all lovely and help to make the resort a relaxing, stress free getaway from a hectic lifestyle - nothing is ever too much trouble. Mike and Liza are great managers and Granada Beach is in safe hands. Food is locally sourced, tasty and very reasonably priced. The tours are also great and I appreciate they go out of their way to try to avoid places that are too touristy, or beat the crowds if they are. If there is anything to improve, some of the facilities are a touch dated. For example, the showers are okay, but it would great to install a rainfall shower or similar. And some parasols by the pool to create some shade would be a good idea - the sun is very intense! Also for the keen gym goer, it would be lovely if they could build a small gym with weights so guests can burn off the extra calories from the delicious food! We would be happy to pay a bit more per night to fund the updates, and will be sure to return in the not too distant future.…We had a wonderful six night break at Granada Beach. Pros: Nice large room with private pool. Ocean and mountain view. Very good food, authentic choices. Nice easy diving. Many on-land activities. Live entertainment every night. They were very ethical in separating a Chinese group that came before the virus outbreak. The group was safe but the management did a very good job respecting the group (organized a separate "wedding type" dinner on the beach) and putting the rest of guests at ease by separating them. Very nice, friendly, and sincere staff. THANK YOU AMOR, SHEILA, DENIS and the rest of dive staff and hotel staff!! Cons: The west and north ends need some housekeeping. First I like thier well behaved dogs, they'd made our stay full of joy. I like the friendly and helpful staffs, good cook, good food, nice view, clean beach, although the pool isn't that height friendly, but it's nice. Spacious room, large bed, clean bathroom, I can't stay anything bad about this place. Small resort but it gave us a wonderful stay. Keep up the hospitality of the staffs.
