A very reasonably priced Motel with a decent kitchen. It was nice to have laundry facilities in the hotel. The motel was perfect for our 2 week stay.

The property is old, but in good condition. Doug and Jao assisted me all the time and answer my questions about place. Yeah, also i picked this place for the wash and dry. Iwas able to take care of mt laundry.

Pleasant hotel with a view

Nice hotel - we had a room with bedroom upstairs and TV room lounge on the first floor. Could use a little renovations but accommodating and efficient as well. Had view of the pool which allowed for pleasant distractions. Overall, well situated hotel and superb professional staff at the front desk.

We enjoyed our stay at the Luna Hotel da Oura. The rooms are very large. A few things need to be repaired in the room we had. The towel bar fell off and the bottom dishwasher rack needs to be replaced. Other than a couple of things, the hotel was very good. Easy walking to The Strip but a little farther to Old Town. Very nice hotel. The young man at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful.

Lobby was beautiful, bedroom was dirty, floors in room looked like they hadn't been cleaned when we arrived, curtains in room had black and brown stains all over, pool needed cleaned as water is pool was dirty, if u didn't know the where the hotel was it can be difficult to locate. Bedroom needs updating

We are a family of four (two adults, two teenagers) who are fairly well travelled. We were really looking forward to our stay at The Luna having travelled some of Portugal and Spain before arriving. Sadly, we were quite disappointed. Upon arrival at 3:55 pm we were told we couldn’t check in until 4:00 pm and then were told at 4 that our room wasn’t ready. The front desk were unkind, often telling to refer to the hotel paper they provided if we had questions. Things felt very controlled (don’t ask for towels to be replaced) and dated. Additionally, it was noisy with many young adults partying and no control over noise. Consider different accommodations if you’re a travelling family.

Okay but not what it used to be.

We have visited this hotel before in 2019 and stayed in a lovely room on the top floor. We arrived and check in appeared at first to be easy, we were sent to our room what I believed was going to be the same or similar to what we’ve stayed in previously , we soon noticed that this was not the room we had booked & paid for it was just a standard twin room. We returned to reception and were told there are only twin rooms remaining, after me being fairly persistent that we were not having a twin room as we had paid for a studio room which is advertised as having a double and a single bed. We were made to feel like an inconvenience for wanting a double bed, we were eventually given a room with a double bed, I am still not believing this is the studio room we paid for and just a standard double room. After we were settled in the room we did enjoy our stay. The hotel now seems to attaract a different crowd to what it used to, there is multiple stag/hen dos staying here during our stay , understandably theses are loud which is fine but the walls are very thin and when they’re returning from nights out at 4/5am it does mean we are having a disturbed nights sleep. Also leaving alcohol bottles and rubbish by the pool, playing loud music. Both of which break the hotels own rules but there is nobody to police this. The restaurant was only open for breakfast which we didn’t try. There is a shop across the road and only a short walk in to town & beach so it’s a good location.

A Well-Deserved Break at Luna Hotel da Oura

I recently stayed at Luna Hotel da Oura with some good friends, and it was exactly the break we all needed – and at a fantastic value for money. Our two-floor apartment was a total win – spacious, comfortable, and with not just one but two balconies. The view from the top floor was incredible, stretching across the town and right down to the sea. Perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening drink while soaking up the sunset. The layout was ideal for socializing too – plenty of space for when friends from the other rooms wanted to pop by for a drink and a game of cards before heading out for the evening. It was the perfect spot to unwind and catch up in style without feeling crammed in. The rooms themselves were well-appointed, with comfortable beds and blackout curtains that made it easy to catch up on some much-needed rest. The pool area was another highlight – plenty of loungers, a nice little bar serving cold drinks, and a laid-back vibe that made it easy to forget about the outside world. Location-wise, it’s close enough to the lively strip if you want a taste of the nightlife, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. We dipped into the buzz of the bars a couple of nights but were always happy to return to our spacious, comfy base with that stunning sea view. For what we paid, it felt like a steal – great facilities, loads of space, and a brilliant location. Would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a well-priced break.

le ménage est très très succinct, l'appartement a besoin d’être rafraichit et la tuyauterie changée (écoulement de l'eau dans les toilettes et difficultés à régler la douche. Manque éponge et balai dans la kitchenette et chaises cassées à remplacer ou à consolider. La restauration n'est pas très variée et peu abondante surtout si vous y venez dans la dernière heure de service, peu de spécialités Portugaises même pas des pasteis de nata. A table l'eau est payante. Si vous voulez un café après manger il faut attendre que le serveur finisse sa tache pour vous servir, jamais personne au bar qui aurait d'ailleurs besoin d'une bonne aération. Bruyant la nuit grosse fréquention de fêtards Britanniques très peu discrets.
