We were in town to visit the Sand Dunes -- which was amazing! There was also a rodeo and carnival going on in the nearby town of Monte Vista. That was super fun! And the Sand Dunes hot springs us a must visit. Had a wonderful time in the area.

The Colorado Gator House looks kind of dated from the outside, a roadside attraction from the 70s, but is well worth a visit. The UFO Watch Tower is just a collection of junk. Cranes in the spring are interesting and fun...

Walking tour is not walking friendly. It kept jigging back and forth between streets
"Place was great for the price! They had a huge TV, which was fun because we had just been tent camping. Nice amenities, including coffee in the room. Bed was comfortable, and enormous if you like that. It seemed large even for a king. Maybe it was because of that little tent the night before!"
"I liked the drive-in movie, an experience my 16 years old never had, be was fascinated.
The staff, I guess must be the owners are very friendly.
