"We stayed at this property at the end of March with our family of 6. Check-in was not clearly explained, and there were no pre-arrival instructions, even after speaking to the host the day prior to check-in. When we entered past the security gate the property looked like a construction zone and not a luxury rental. There were construction boards along the entrance ramp with exposed nails sticking up. Dioni Boutique Hotel

8/10 Good

"It was a bit hectic trying to locate the hotel...even with GPS...due to all the 1-ways. We ended up finding a parking spot on the street a few blocks away, walking to the hotel, then taking our car back to the hotel where there was parking in the back. We paid for a Jr. Suite, and we specifically asked for it to be on a quiet side of the hotel away from road noise...and we ended up on the noisiest side of the hotel (back side) with constant motorcycle and car traffic. So we requested a change of room from the gentleman at reception, and were told the hotel was full. I persisted indicating I had made (and paid for) the reservation months prior and had specifically asked for a quiet room. He ended up finding a small room that had somewhat less noise (no refund in price). I also had VIP status for a free bottle of wine...which I had to ask him for. I still rated this 4 star as it was in a good location, good condition, and had parking, good breakfast. Note: had to use the wi-fi in the lobby as it did not work in our room."

"Really loved our stay at Red Tower Hotel, the staff were super friendly and professional, the rooms were spacious, bright and clean. The birds get chirpy early but it’s nice to hear them. The views from the pool area are stunning. There isn’t much around so it’s peaceful, ensure you have a car and the nearest ports are 5 mins drive away. It’s only 15 mins drive from lefkada town and at most an hour to all the attractions and famous beaches. Highly recommend!"
