"I was surprised they charge $15 per night for PARKING !! I mean what is next, you have to take your own bed?? They shouldn’t charge that separated and at least they could mention that BEFORE doing the reservation PRIOR getting there. With that extra charge, I could have gotten another place for sure. Anyways, place was good, there is a gated basement parking (your room key opens the parking door as well) NIGHT RECEPTIONIST WAS RUDE, it seemed she was paying me to stay there. I think there’s room for improvement when referring to customer service. Room service personnel were AWESOME and very POLITE! Besides those 2 things, I found this Hotel good and safe."

"Nice hotel in a fairly central location. Staff friendly, offering warm cookie at check in. Nice pool area that gave you feeling of being away from urban environment. "

"Clean room, very comfortable bed, the location was perfect for us - good to explore Santa Monica and to head into Beverly Hills, and Hollywood from there. There is a bus stop for BigBlueBus number 7 not far from the hotel. The staff was very friendly. "

"Clean room. You can find everything in 3 miles distance. Very good neighborhood area. Free self parking. There is breakfast, but nothing except coffee and some carb like bread, pancake and few mini cereals boxes. Otherwise excellent overall "

"My Kids and I stayed here for a couple nights and we really love the central location that this place has to offer on top of the fact that it has a very beautiful grounds. Yes, the valet is a little bit expensive and the taxes also ridiculous but it is really convenient because some other places would charge you to come in and out so in the end the last night we decided to do valet and I’m glad we did. I like that they had bikes and surfboards and beach chairs along with beach towels, right there as you leave. Everybody on the staff was super accommodating and helpful from the concierge at the front desk to the cleaning staff to the valet attendants. All were top notch nice. I didn’t really notice the traffic sounds until the last morning, but it didn’t wake me up or was extremely loud to me and I’m a pretty light sleeper so if you are not a fan of hearing the freeway at night, you might not want to stay here. But like I said, I am a light sleeper and it didn’t bother me. I would definitely consider coming back here to stay for a girls trip or a nice short, romantic getaway with my husband. "
