"This was the best hotel during our journey through Germany and Austria. Checks all the boxes for excellence. The room is large and very convenient with all the amenities. Views of the Rhein Gorge from the large windows are really spectacular. Their breakfast also has plenty to choose from. Their staff at the front desk and the dining area are nice and very helpful with smiles. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend."

"We arrived late evening, however a staff member was still on site, she was very pleasant and extremely helpful, made us feel “at home”. The castle has been kept very authentic and would be exactly what someone would want to experience in a castle built in 1283, absolutely amazing place. Would recommend anyone to stay. However a couple things we noticed, after dark there are little to no light sources past the main entrance, the grounds where very dark and interior stairways, making navigation of...

"We loved this hotel. It was easy to access, cheap parking across the street and a short walk to the main areas of town. We had a private porch with a view up the mountain. We slept well and enjoyed our time there. Notes for other travelers: the parking machine is $4 per day but only takes coins; most places in town only take cash; breakfast is only offered on weekends; coffee is for sale by machine but it only takes coins. "
