"Bella Vista is a small, family run hotel. It’s a bit of a walk to the nearest beach (40 mins) but what it offers more than compensates for this.
Eli, Spiros and Melanie are the most welcoming team we have ever had the pleasure to meet. I am sorry not to know the name of the chef, the other breakfast lady and the lovely housekeeper.
The location will provide a very authentic experience of Crete. Literally 5-6 walk to a square full of restaurants and Tavernas which are all excellent. And where...

"It is a lovely hotel. We felt very welcomed by the owner Kiriakos & the staff. Both Kiriakos & the staff are very friendly. Rooms are lovely, pool/bar area is fantastic & nothing is ever too much trouble whether it be a transfer or anything. Breakfast was amazing. I cannot recommend this hotel enough :) "
"Upon arrival I was 'upgraded' to a more quite room in the back, since I was staying for two weeks. Unfortunately there were a lot of dogs around the property, so every time you opened the door to get some air in after 6pm, dogs on both sides would go off in a barking contest.
The room itself was fine, bigger than what I originally ordered, but mostly empty and had no indoor table, only a sofa that wasn't great to sit on. Rest of the room was fine, as expected. Bathroom was very nice.

"George and his fantastic team make for such an amazing holiday. The service is superb and they remember returning guests with a genuine touch. The Blue Moon restaurant which forms part of the hotel serves high quality food incl a made to order breakfast incl fruit, yogurt, honey, eggs etc. "
"The hotel was absolutely superb, we were there for a 3 night stay at the end of a weeks villa holiday and it was perfect. Rooms were massive, food was excellent, staff were so friendly and helpful. The only thing that we could complain about was the pool area - the pool itself is stunning and overlooks the golf course BUT there are too few loungers and too few towels!!! So we arrived on one occasion to nowhere to sit and nothing to dry ourselves with - not ideal, one family with little children were all sat on one lounger! The pool area is not manned in any way so once the towels are gone they are not replaced! A few more chair/loungers are definitely required as there was space for them. Apart from this little niggle, the hotel was excellent and we would definitely return. "
"The staff was prompt, professional, and personable. The Summer months at the hotel are frequented by mostly younger, single guests. The demographics shift to a wider audience including mostly couples and families in other months. That being said, an enjoyable experience may be found whenever you visit. Daily afternoon DJ service and a variety of evening shows across the week are provided in the spacious pool area.
The breakfast buffet boasts numerous options with my favorite being made-to-order omelette service. Handmade pizzas, gyros, and various other culinary delights are available throughout the day. Drinks from the pool area bar are great with sangria being a particularly great choice while sunbathing.
The hotel location is well-situated in the middle of numerous shopping, dining, and entertainment options with exciting nightlife well within walking distance. If fun in the menu for your holiday, then Cook’s Club Hersonissos is the perfect selection!"
