I called ahead to notify the front desk that we would be a late check in due to traveling. So thankful that wasn't an issue and check in was quick and painless. The room was easy to find and was nice and cool when we got in. We also appreciated how clean it smelled. You can tell it's an older motel, but the overall cleanliness of it made up for that. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable. Overall a great experience!

Good for the price.

It looks much better on the inside. The room appeared to have been recently renovated. It was reasonably clean except for some food crumbs on the mattress cover and an occasional black bug. Overall, it was good for the price.

We have been staying at this hotel for the past 3 years as we go for a softball tournament for scholarships at Grover Nelson park. This year the room had fleas on the towels, the room was dirty, the bed was very uncomfortable and smaller than what we slept in the past. I will not return after the amount we paid, I will look into something better next year. I liked this place because it was close to many restaurants and Walmart. But for the price and housekeeping it has really gone down from last year.

I was really disappointed to find out AFTER checking in (and paying) that the pool is not in service. It’s summer time in Texas. If your website says you have a pool and your photos show a pool, there should be a functioning pool, otherwise we should have been advised as such.
