"The hotel was great. The restaurant was not so great my first was smoked pork ribs the flavor was good but very dry. The second meal I ordered a Caesar salad didn’t come with a Caesar dressing but an oil base dressing. The third meal I ordered was a four cheese pizza I think it was 90% mozzarella cheese and 10% the other 3 cheeses. I would recommend the hotel the restaurant not so much."

From there, public transportation is available to and from the Puerto Princesa city proper. Breakfast is served everyday and food can be ordered from their kitchen for lunch or dinner. There’s a dining room attendant who will serve you with a smile every time. This hotel can rival any five-star accommodations in customer service. Just like in any other hotel, the front desk staff will arrange tours and transportation for you. However, at the Bambú Suites guests receive helpful tips on where and how to shop as well. "A Hidden Gem of Tranquility and Charm! Carpe Diem Villa and Resort is a true oasis in Puerto Princesa! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the peaceful, Balinese-inspired atmosphere, surrounded by lush greenery and elegant sculptures. The rooms are spotless, beautifully designed, and well-equipped — we especially loved the private pool access, which made the stay feel extra luxurious. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, even helping us plan local tours and arranging transport when needed. The main pool area is stunning and well-maintained — perfect for lounging with a drink from the poolside bar. Dining at their restaurant was a delightful surprise. The fusion of French and Filipino flavors made for a unique and satisfying experience, though we would have appreciated a bit more variety in the breakfast options. While the resort is tucked away from the main town, it’s a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Just be prepared to arrange transportation if you plan to explore more of the city.
