"We had a pleasant stay here. The rooms are comfortable, but there’s nothing special about the hotel itself. The location is very handy for a walk through Galway Park and it’s out of the bustle of town. Restaurant is fine. The surrounding area is a bit hilly if you want to walk around. "

"We had a very enjoyable and comfortable two days stay. No complaints. Our room was nice and spacious, with a bay window and seating area. You do need to be a bit agile to climb out of the shower, which is over a bath with high sides. We tried several of the restaurants and the cafe. All were good. Service can be a bit patchy, but really, who cares when you are in such lovely premises with outstanding garden areas. "Small Hotel near to the racetrack. Nice room comfortable bed. Short walk to the centre of town. The host is very helpful and when I left took me in his tuk tuk to the bus station and made sure I got on the right bus. A pleasant place to stay."

"This property was beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and attentive and accommodating. The room, the lounge, and the restaurant were unbelievably comfortable and well decorated. The pool area is gorgeous and the tea plantations surrounding the property made for the most amazing backdrop. "

"We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. "
