"Be forewarned, the property is up a VERY steep hill from the town of Salema!!"

"Perfect location. The hotel had an issue when we checked in on Saturday. They could not make door keys. So, each time we needed to get into our room we needed a staff member to escort us. A bit frustrating. Breakfast was great. "

"Just returned from a lovely week at Porto Bay, our first time since pre covid. A wonderful relaxing holiday with great friendly staff and good food. If anything the food in the Italian restaurant had got even better and we ate there twice. As soon as we entered the hotel, we relaxed and had a great time. Sitting in the many cliff top areas, whether in sun or shade was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back."

"The hotel is great for young families all year round with the indoor heated pool & soft play area. The outdoor pool was a little cold when we stayed in April . The staff are all friendly & attentive & we found some great restaurants in walking distance by asking at reception & taxi drivers. "

"Staff was very helpful and friendly. We reserved with half board, so we had dinner, wich was very convenient because you don't have anything in a short distance. Breakfast and dinner were delicious! The hotel is beautiful and rooms are spacious and well equipped with kitchenette. Con: our room (021) was at the far part of the property, so when was pleasent was a nice walkable 15 minutes distance around the Marina; when it was not, they have golf carts to take you to your room."

"Nice property, lovely pool area, short walk to free transfer by boat to beautiful empty beach, decent gym, good quality drinks, roof top music bar, ..food a little limited and repetitive and had a few tummy issues while there, but you can walk into cabanas for other food options if needed (approx 10 mins)….popular with large golf groups.
