"Property was within walking distance of many restaurants, groceries, and port. Parking was right out front. Neighbors were very friendly. 4 of 5 stars for not making clear “shower” was actually a hose connection from the sink with a curtain that had to set up to encircle me each time a shower was taken. The water drained into the bathroom floor. The curtain space was so small it stuck to my body while I was showering."

"These trailers are located in a industrial area so we were disturbed some late nights and early mornings by traffic. The walls are very thin and you can also hear neighbours in the other trailers. The accomondation itself was not clean when we arrived, there were dirty dishes, one unclean pillow and hair in the shower. "The hotel is very convenient to the main shopping/dining district in Torshavn. It was about a 10 minute walk to many restaurants. The ferry/bus terminal was about a 5 minute walk away and it was very easy to get the 300 bus to the airport from this terminal. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the included breakfast had a nice selection. There was a nice perk in that if you chose green and declined daily room servicing you could receive one can of beer or soda per room for each day. We were able to try some of the local beer by doing this. The hotel is on a major street so there was some noise from the vehicles driving by but I would recommend the sea view (which also faces the road). I would definitely stay at Hotel Djurhuus again!"
