"We loved our time at Heritage Hotel Cardo. We felt like Roman royalty in such a historical and well maintained old building and so close to the Diocletian palace and waterfront. Luke and Ivan went above and beyond making sure we were comfortable and had all that we needed. They also assisted with getting our luggage to and from the hotel. My only complaint is the bathroom had a sewer odor which I think is from the old plumbing in the old city and not a hotel problem, but it was a bit pungent at...

"The place was very unique. We had our own little outdoor terrace/sitting area. The rooms were fine, lacking a living room/couch. The location is good, very close to the old area of the city connected by old walking only streets, it was very cool. The city is very nice, wish we had more time there. More pillows for sleeping or more supportive pillows is recommended. "

"The location was perfect for me. Super close to the old city and walking distance to the ferry port. It is essentially a small studio apartment. The only draw back for me was having to carry my luggage up all the stairs. Not a big problem as I was travelling relatively light and only had to tote it up and down once."

"The apartments are right on the beach and beautiful. They are a bit south of “downtown” Split, which I enjoyed as Split is quite busy. And an easy Uber ride away. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend a stay. "
