"The staff are really lovely and helpful. The lady at the reception was very kind to me and helped me when there was an issue with the booking as Expedia had not sent the booking through properly and she still managed to find me a room. Second time I have stayed here and will definitely stay again โค๏ธ"

"The location is remote, peaceful and lovely. It's an old building and full of character with huge, comfortable rooms. All the staff were helpful. Breakfasts were a little limited, but adequate. We didn't enjoy the one dinner we had, but it was good value. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for its excellent value accommodation and location."

"Lovely hotel, very welcoming staff , room in annex good despite previous reviews. Dinner was excellent as was the freshly cooked breakfast. The only thing that stopped it being 5stars overall was a bathroom tap which was very loose and should have been fixed."
