"The location of Hotel Du Casino, above Omaha Beach, was amazing and the view of the beach and the English Channel was incredible. The room was small and a bit dated. The breakfasts were quite good as well. The staff was friendly and helpful but you should know French if you stay there. Also, having a car is a must as most services are about 15 miles away."

"It was a challenge to check in, be sure to read all of the information on this hotel as check in is at a restaurant. It would be nice to be provided some coffee within the room as well as a small fridge. We were the only ones booked in the facility while we were there so it was very quiet. We did not need to drive the entire time we were there which is a plus! "

"The hotel is in a fantastic location in Bayeux. It is very close and easy walking distance to all the sites in Bayeux. Bayeux itself is in easy driving distance to all the Normandy D-Day locations. The staff could not have been friendlier. It's not a fancy hotel, but for the price the rooms were clean and comfortable and had a good European breakfast. "Perfect location. In the middle of town surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. 100 feet from the D-Day tour pick up location for most tours. The room was nice, spacious and very clean. Breakfast was okay, very light. "

"Accomodations were very nice and the staff very pleasant. Only wish we had a refrigerator in the room... we had medications that needed to be kept cold and we needed to find ice to keep them cold throughout the night. "
