"We stayed for 3 nights in the Hetton bedroom. Very clean, lovely bathroom and comfy bed. Just the pillows that I didnโt get on with. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice both hot and cold. On two of our three evenings we ate in the inn and the food was great, cannot fault any of it. Lovely, friendly staff. Great position for travelling to all the sights in Northumberland. We will definitely stay again."

"Our room was clean but the room was very dark with just a small window at one end overlooking a yard. Staff were all very helpful & breakfast was good. We didnโt feel there was a lot of choice on menu for evening meal"

"On line book in. Which worked. A breakfast hamper continental style which worked well. Room had everything needed for a two day stay. Its a downhill slope walk of 14 minutes from Railway station and a bit longer going back. Local buses close. Plenty of local cafes and fish and chip shops handy. Location very good for walking the town walls. The absence of staff seen did not distract from what was a pleasent stay.I would use the hotel again if visiting the area."
