"Breakfast was quite good as was the location. The room was comfortable. I really only have one criticism and that is the lack of towel hooks was made the bathroom facilities a bit awkward.. a simple fix. The driver they arranged to take us to the bus station was outstanding. We would stay again"

"The 402 Hotel is an unique place. The owner welcomes you with home slipper and a big smile and everything feels like home. The rooms are comfortable and have beautiful colors, so has the living room, which is a little cozy corner of then house. The owner makes sure you are placed in the best spot, the kitchen and the bathroom are the most beautiful home/like rooms I have ever seen in a hostel! "The location is great - walking distance to surf and restaurants, the space in the room we stayed in was good and had a private balcony and the common areas were generally clean. A couple of strange things - for somewhere that is a "shared house"/hostel type the people who work/"hosts" were very unfriendly, there were 2 females who wouldn't even acknowledge us during our stay (walking into the kitchen and wouldn't even make eye contact or make conversation - mind you I commented on their food...

"This property was great. It was very close to the beach. The view from the apartment was of the hills but you could hear the beach. There was no WiFi, which was a bit of a surprise to find out after we booked. We made do with cellular service and our cars gps. The rental company was really nice and communicated well. It would be nice if there were beach towels or toys/chairs to use while we were there but there is the cutest rental place for tents down the way and plenty of places to buy cheap...
