The Burrard is a no frills, modern property oriented toward young people that provides a pleasant place to sleep. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful when I needed recommendations for when I wanted snacks and later a meal (the hotel itself lacks both). Both were literally within a half block. "Book this hotel while in the middle of the ocean cruising to Vancouver. We had a delay do to a passenger emergency. We had a reservation in a very expensive hotel but since the delay will stay only few hours in Vancouver and decided to cancel and find another more affordable hotel. Next day after booking I noticed an email explaining about the shared bathroom and started to reading reviews. I was panicked. We basically walked from the port only like 15 minutes. The front desk people AMAZING. They were very friendly and helpful. Our room extremely clean and staff where super nice. Bathrooms all very neat and clean. I could not believe how everything was so nice and this hotel exceed our expectations. We stayed till next morning for our early flight back home. I will definitely stay again if returning to Vancouver CA. "
