"Lovely, local B&B. Good location for access to walking around town with shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Accommodation is upstairs 2 or 3 flights of stairs with no lift but friendly staff on standby to assist. Lovely continental breakfast (need to pre -book or ask on arrival). "

"The property was nicely decorated and within walking distance of the major attractions in Siena. Not sure if it is an Italian thing, but, the ones we have stayed at don’t provide soap for showering. Only downside, and that is not too important. "

"What a find! You’d never know that a lovely well appointed home away from home boutique hotel is behind the wooden door right inside the Via Romano gate. Our rooms were clean and bright with a view of Siena. Our host Ana was so attentive to our needs and gave us great recommendations. Breakfast was varied and abundant and served by another Ana who was very helpful too! With only four rooms, it felt like an oasis away from the Siena hustle and bustle. There is no front desk or full-time staff,...

"We were on the 1st floor of the villa, and although we’d booked a private bathroom this wasn’t part of the room but across the corridor which was shared with 2 other rooms. Not ideal in the middle of the night! Window to view was very small and didn’t have a curtain, but actually the location is lovely (10 min drive to Sienna) and breakfast is adequate. Can imagine the pool would be lovely in summer. "

"Did not realize that the shared bathroom was for all rooms in the hotel not just two adjoining rooms. Quite a hike up the the floor the hotel is located on. Otherwise we found the facilites very clean and the staff ere very helpful and courteous. Location was excellent and our overall experience very positive."

"Bathroom could really be a lot cleaner. It’s a walk-up to the room on 2nd floor, but not bad unless you have a lot of luggage. The room itself is comfortable and the kitchen facilities are pretty good. I missed having a window in the room I could look out of, but also appreciated the peace and quiet. Can’t complain much about the kitchen, it has most of what you need, but there should really be a wine bottle opener. This is Italy after all. :)"

"The postive is checkin experiene is easy as the receptionist is very nice. She communicated well. The negative is the room are not insulated. You can hear other rooms closing their doors and kids running in the hallway. "
